Watch This Video

What is wrong with our society that parents think bullying is just fine and that such name calling is OK? What evil lurks in the hearts of men....for shame on America for giving short shrift to such pain and for allowing bullying to get to this point.

There are no words I can add.

Until next time,

Elise

  1. Wow that was very moving. Had me in tears at the end. There is so much bullying going on it makes me sick. My son has autism and he was bullied in school. My oldest has been bullied in school. I grew up with bullies in middle school. I am really thankful that our schools here in town have a zero tolerance for bullying. I wish that it was like that everywhere. It's not okay to bully. I wish more adults would realize it and teach their kids that too.

  2. I know growing up I was bullied, my husband was bullied, and my oldest collegeman was terribly bullied too. In fact here what they do because they don't want suspensions on their records they alienate students which is what they did to him. So many of our children are harmed by bullying that they even acknowledge that they suffer from some form of PTSD. It has taken years of therapy but collegeman is really starting to come out of his shell.Recently I see a happy youngman, albeit in still need of some friends, but happy nonetheless which is what we are all aiming for for our children.

  3. Incredible video Elise - thanks for sharing - I will be forwarding it to my childrens schools hopefully they will post it there. Such a powerful speech and an incredible message of hope and acceptance. What struck me as the video ended was the one man (and I use that term lightly) not applauding or standing, some people will never get it.
